Pictured is the farmhouse his father Johann Fredrick Mutterer and Magdalena Braeuning Mutterer built and raised ten children in. Herman Mutterer married Frieda Kettenacker in 1902. and they would be the next generation to farm here. This is the second house built on the farmstead which was completed in 1910. Several out buildings are in place and look fairly new in the close up pictures. The barn would have been to the left just out of the picture. The Mutterer family farmed here from 1881-1981.
