The photo was taken while standing on Main Street looking north towards Bridge Street. The building at an angle to the right was the Texaco gas station owned by Harpo. The building adjacent to it was Bud Hasslinger’s Hardware Store. Across Bridge street you can see the Rockford Cafe that was in the lower portion of the Masonic Lodge. The house shaped building was actually a bar, not sure of the name of it at this time. Might have been Whitey’s Bar.
