Take a Tour Today
Plan to spend 45 minutes to an hour visiting 11 rooms that still contain hand made furniture, original wallpaper, toiletries, textiles, and many stories that seem to spill from the walls. Get to know the Ames, Florida, and Stork families through photographs taken in the Parlor, letters written in the Kitchen, and songs sung in the Music Room.
Since the Stork family occupied the House until 1986 as a residence, the tour incorporates some recognizable items as well as many that have no place in our modern society. Have fun seeing artifacts that may have a place in your own memory!
Staff and volunteer docents relish the opportunity to spend time showing you the AFS House, its collection, stories, and garden. Schedule a tour by clicking below.
