Unknown gentlemen on the east bank of the Crow River. In the background, while faint, there is a tremendous amount of detail. On the right you can see the iron bridge. Scanning to the left you can see the downtown area. On the far left is the the lumber mill. The men are leaning against a railing that would have been the edge of a road that is long gone. They would be about where Kwik Trips car wash is today. This road led to the woolen mill. Best guess is that this picture is 1890’s at the latest, but more likely in the 1880’s.
