A rare advertising brochure from D.R. Thompson’s store in Rockford. Stevens first started making rifles in 1880. By 1892 they had produced over 3.5 million rifles. The Crack Shot model featured was only manufactured from 1900-1913 helping us date this item. D. R. Thompson’s store was like a early version of Wal-Mart…you could buy just about anything you needed there…from caskets to guns to plows.
