Rockford winter scene

Ray Wendling, on a horse drawn sled with milk cans on Bridge Street in Rockford. Schleif’s garage sign is clearly visible on the brick building to the left, a Grain Belt sign from the saloon where Brothers Restaurant is now and further down you can see the Bank sign. Look at the tires on the cars. All have chains on them.
