Rockford has a top notch amateur baseball team which won multiple Wright-Hennepin League titles in the 1940’s – 50’s. Feeding those teams was a Legion team that also played on Kettenacker field. This was located in Hennepin county about the corner of Hennepin County Rd 50 and Dogwood street.
