1955 photo of the Rockford House. Note there is no bowling yet. Doc Torblaa was the owner and the whole family lived upstairs. A tornado came through and damaged the garage not long after this photo was taken. Doc borrowed money from the Mitchel family afterwards to build a bowling alley where the garage was and moved the garage to the west side of the building.

My father E J Becchetti was the architec for the bowing alley. Bowled there many times. Purchased cabin on Lake Sarah in 1951, rebuilt home there in 2005.
